I really enjoyed the online learning part of the Kalbis studies programme. I could study at my own pace, whenever I had a minute to spare. It was also interesting to record my voice as a part of speaking exercises and listen to myself while practicing English. I got a lot of useful information during the consultations. Tips on writing were really useful for my schoolwork, too. I would recommend the Kalbis studies course to those who want to successfully prepare for the IELTS exam.

I live in a comparatively small town, so I do not have the opportunity to attend a traditional IELTS preparation course. I am really glad that I had an opportunity to study with the Kalbis studies programme. My weakness was communicating in English. I overcame my fear to talk in English really fast while attending speaking consultations with my classmate. I attended school abroad for several years. All subjects were taught in English. After I came back to Lithuania, I did not use English, so I forgot it after a while. I spend most of my free time attending various extra-curricular activities. That’s why I chose the Kalbis studies programme. I could learn whenever I had a minute to spare. I could have consultations when I wanted them, so usually I planned them on weekends when I have more free time. So flexibility is the biggest advantage of these courses.

In my opinion, small groups (2-6 students) during the consultations is the biggest advantage of the Kalbis studies course. First, we received writing tasks. I sent my writing task to our teacher and I got them corrected with advice specially for me. I was pleasantly surprised by such attention from Kalbis studies IELTS experts. It was also interesting to chat and discuss various topics with my classmate during speaking consultations. Hearing another student talking with the teacher, learning from his mistakes, is also really useful. I realized that I was progressing really fast while I was studying with Kalbis and now I feel ready to take the IELTS exam.
